Forensic Scientific Afternoon

On behalf of the board, we are delighted to invite you to the ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ, scheduled to take place on 19th april at 2 p.m. in Huis De Munter, Naamsestraat 69, 3000 Leuven.

The registration cost is limited to โฌ30 for students, medical trainees and (candidate) members, while non-members can register for a mere โฌ50. This includes coffee break and reception.

Our society will be holding its annual General Assembly on the 19th January 2024 at the faculty Club in Leuven.

QUALITY ASSURANCE SYMPOSIUM – December 15th – Brussels
It is with tremendous pride that the board can present the final program of the first ever Quality Assurance Symposium that we are organising on friday 15th December 2023 at Hof ter Musschen, Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe.
This is the first time that your society in collaboration with the Belgian and Luxembourg toxicologists organise an event and we are convinced this will be a popular one, so do book early as places are strictly limited (early registration till 31st october, late registration till 30th november).
The interactive break-out sessions are focused on the practical aspects of quality assurance management and will therefore be organised in different languages (NL, FR and EN).
We also invite you to attend the dinner after the symposium to get to know the speakers and other participants in a more informal setting.

CALL FOR ABSTRACT – 12/05/2023 – Scientific Conference of the SRMLB-KBGGG
On the 12th of May 2023, in the afternoon, the board of the SRMLB-KBGGG will be organising a scientific conference.
Abstracts for 15-20 min oral presentations are invited from all disciplines and should be sent to bram.bekaert@uzleuven.be, jessica.vanhaebost@saintluc.uclouvain.be and/or Sarah.Wille@just.fgov.be.
The deadline for submission is the 24th March 2023 at 5 pm.
The meeting (and the subsequent dinner) will take place at the beautiful Hof ter Musschen in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe.

CME Course ‘Forensic Neuropathology’
The CME Course โForensic Neuropathologyโ, organized for the fourth time, will be held from 2nd -4th May 2023 in Edinburgh, Scotland. As with each Euro-CNS course, it will consist of lectures with an emphasis on teaching, alternating with practical (case work-up and digital microscopy) sessions. This will be the first in-person course where no microscopes will be used, all microscopy being digital.
